What we do
Circular Innovations:
Dignify Her:
We upcycle textile waste to manufacture reusable sanitary pads towards promoting menstrual health & reducing environmental degradation. We are addressing the challenges faced by adolescent girls in managing menstruation effectively while promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). By repurposing textile waste for the production of these sanitary pads, we contribute to environmental sustainability, reducing the environmental impact associated with traditional disposable menstrual products. The reusable pads offer a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative, ensuring dignity, comfort, and accessibility for girls in need.
Urban Organic Foods:
We recycle agricultural and food waste into organic fertilizer. We collect waste, compost it to create high-quality fertilizer tailored for organic farming of African Green Leafy Vegetables (AVLs) as well as a diverse range of fruit and medicinal tree seedlings rich in nutrients. Through our demonstration farms, we provide training in organic farming, agroforestry, smart-climate agribusiness, and waste management. Our approach, grounded in scientific research, tackles the root causes of unsustainable farming, mitigating climate change, conserving soil health, and reducing non-communicable diseases.
