Training Overview

DignifyHer™ Training: Produce Quality Reusable Sanitary Pads

This comprehensive training program teaches participants how to produce high-quality reusable sanitary pads from upcycled textiles. Participants learn material selection and sourcing, design principles and pattern creation, production techniques and quality assurance, hygiene and safety standards, packaging and branding, and business fundamentals for income generation.

Program Duration: 3 to 5 days (depending on intensity and format)

Target Audience: Individuals, women’s groups, youth groups, vocational institutes, NGOs, community organizations

Delivery Format: In-person (Kisumu), Online modules, or Hybrid

Cost: Sliding scale based on participant type and subsidy eligibility

Certification: Participants receive a Caryle Training Certificate upon completion

Expected Outcomes: Participants will be able to independently produce high-quality DignifyHer™ products, understand quality standards and hygiene protocols, develop business plans for product sales, and potentially generate income through product manufacturing and sales.

EcoCare™ Training: Master Washable Diaper Manufacturing

This specialized training program equips participants with the skills to create durable, comfortable, and affordable washable diapers. Participants learn fabric selection and material sourcing, pattern making and design, sewing techniques and construction, product testing and quality assurance, care instructions and user education, and business development for market entry.

This comprehensive upcycling training program teaches participants how to transform textile waste into fashionable and functional products. Participants learn textile waste sourcing and material assessment, design principles for upcycled products, production techniques for bags, accessories, home décor, and wearables, quality assurance and finishing, artisan branding and storytelling, and business fundamentals for artisan livelihoods.

Program Duration: 2-4 weeks (depending on intensity and format)

Target Audience: Individuals, artisans, women’s groups, youth groups, vocational institutes, NGOs, community organizations, tailors

Community Workshops: Waste Management and Circular Economy Practices

This awareness and capacity-building program is designed for households, community groups, schools, and institutions. Participants learn about textile waste challenges and environmental impact, circular economy principles and practices, practical waste reduction strategies, upcycling fundamentals and DIY projects, and community action planning for sustainability.

Program Duration: 1-2 days (flexible, customizable)
